Senior Project Manager - Industrial Sector

Jim has overall responsibility for all industrial projects at Valdes. He has more than thirty years of experience in project engineering, project management and operations management for a diverse cross-section of manufacturing industries, including steel, building materials, general manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and alternative energy.

Jim possesses a wealth of project life-cycle experience beginning with front-end planning and scope development through project execution and start-up. He is particularly adept at leading teams on challenging and fast-track projects where time to market is of the essence.

Prior to joining Valdes, Jim worked for many years in the industrial sector at Washington Group International (formerly Raytheon Engineers & Constructors) and held a variety of project management and engineering positions at Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama, Indiana and Maryland.
