Dan Mueller, P.E.

Director of Engineering Operations

As Director of Engineering Operations, Dan reports directly to Bob Valdes and is responsible for the successful execution of all production engineering work. Technical disciplines, project management, and project controls personnel are under his supervision. Dan's primary focus is to ensure quality, improve efficiency in project execution and evaluate staffing needs to produce optimal results for each client.

Dan is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than twenty years of experience in design engineering and project management. His experience includes consulting engineering in a variety of industries, as well as a direct employee of ExxonMobil, where he worked at EMRE (Exxon Mobil Research and Engineering), ExxonMobil's Midwest Regional Terminals and as a project manager at the Joliet, Illinois and Chalmette, Louisiana refineries. During his career, he has led all aspects of project work including planning, front-end engineering, cost control, detail engineering, construction oversight, mechanical turnover, and start-up. Dan takes pride in completing projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and assuring the safety, reliability, operability and maintainability of the finished project.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, and Massachusetts.
