Matt Clarke, P.E.

Manager of Engineering Operations - Griffith Office 

As the Manager of Engineering Operations for the Griffith Office, Matt is responsible for the oversight of our engineering disciplines in Indiana.  He has more than 20 years of experience in the engineering field.

Prior to Valdes, Matt was the Director of Engineering at Benetech, Inc.  He was responsible for managing the internal engineering and design staff and for developing and fostering relationships with strategic engineering firms to help supplement internal engineering resources on select projects.  He maintained oversight and coordinated technical and commercial aspects of these subcontracted work scopes.

His expertise includes project and product development especially for pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and process design and evaluation of material handling systems.  He also has experience with mechanical design evaluation of material handling system components and proposal management and development.

Matt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.  He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
